We pay attention to sustainability in all areas, starting with the origin of our veneers, the upcycling of leftovers, plastic-free packaging materials, and CO2-neutral shipping.
Our materials
Resource-saving
All our products are made from wood, which we source from FSC-certified manufacturers.
The individual strips of wood are carefully selected and then processed. In traditional wood processing, a huge amount of waste is generated, which is often simply disposed of or burned afterwards. A single tree trunk can produce vast amounts of veneer. Through the so-called 'peeling' of the tree, almost no waste is created.
Certification
The "Forest Stewardship Council" is an international certification system for more sustainable forest management.
The goal and challenge of the FSC is to achieve ecologically sustainable, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of forests worldwide. This includes, among other things, sustainable timber harvesting, a natural forest development area, and adapted wildlife populations.

Upcycling
ZERO WASTE – we work towards this every day! The scraps of the wood veneer from which we make our lights are not discarded in our workshop. Instead, we create bookmarks and fruit bowls from them, which we sell for a small price sell.
